Within the framework of enhancing safety and security measures, the College of Pharmacy at our university, in cooperation with the Engineering Projects Department and the Communications Division at the Al-Abbas (p) Holy Shrine, and the Civil Defense Division at the university, under the supervision of the Dean of the College, Prof. Dr. Uday Abdul-Ridha Hussein Al-Rikabi, completed the training of its engineering and technical staff on the mechanism of dealing with smart alarm systems and their role in risk prevention.
The training aims to enhance the practical aspect through simulating the operation of the alarm system and explaining its working mechanism, which contributes to raising performance efficiency. It included several key themes, most notably: enhancing early preparedness and mitigating the effects of emergencies, clarifying the mechanisms of monitoring and early warning of risks, as well as improving response speed and decision-making accuracy, and supporting coordination among the entities concerned with emergency management.
This training comes in the context of the university's commitment to developing the capabilities of its staff and raising their level of readiness to deal with various emergencies with high efficiency, thereby enhancing a safe and stable university environment.
